Kimberley and Steve at Kilmartin Argyll

Kimberley and Steve's winter wedding at Kilmartin church. The wind blew and the rain fell but Kimberley's smile was as radiant as sunshine.
Happy! Happy! Happy!
This was a lovely village wedding . Friends and family travelled from far and near to gather together to celebrate the wedding of this sweet young couple. It truly was a family affair. Kimberley's Mum, Caroline and her friend Rosemary foraged and gathered from the surrounding woodlands to decorate the church. Some twigs and other finds were dried and sprayed and some beautiful heart-shaped ivy adorned the pillars and windows. Two topiary trees studded with greenery and blue hydrangeas stood at the door to welcome the wedding party.

Afterwards they celebrated their wedding at the Loch Melfort Hotel and to continue the celebrations Caroline arranged a party at their gorgeous cottage in Kilmartin .The house was strewn with fairy lights and lovely plants were placed on the decking. Everything looked so festive and inviting. The sun shone and they all had a wonderful time.

Kimberley wanted her flowers to be very simple and natural. Shades of creamy white and a touch of Thistle.
She did not want her bouquet to be too large and chose Akito roses for their rosebud shape, finished off with some pretty ribbon and studded with pearls.
Bridesmaids bouquets were very simple posies with Lisianthus, some Eucalyptus for the Australian connection and a touch of Muscari to herald the coming of Spring, evidenced by the beautiful Snowdrops outside Kilmartin church.
Kimberley and Steve chose this sweet little VW camper as their wedding car. The piper awaits the bride.
Three Lovely bridesmaids
The bridesmaids had to find shelter from the weather while awaiting Kimberley's arrival, but it did not stop their enjoyment.
Here comes the beautiful bride!
Bunting blowing in the breeze.
